Century Capital is born, drawing on the success of Omni Capital, a partnership between Century Capital’s CEO Paul Munford and developer Christian Candy.
 


With Paul’s widespread network and 20 years of expertise as CEO of MCIFA, a successful family office and brokerage, Century’s client base begins to grow, offering borrowers in the prime property market, a quick and efficient alternative to traditional mainstream lenders.

Century continues to grow, developing their status as one of London’s prime lenders. Each loan is based on the quality of the underlying asset and credibility of the ultimate repayment strategy; a stark contrast to the inconvenient and often difficult pre-funding requirements of mainstream UK lenders.

2014
Century Capital agrees its first major funding line with a UK hedge fund. Now, Century Capital has greater lending, allowing the business to grow and the team to expand.
2015

Recognition as one of Spear’s magazine’s Top 5 Trusted financiers further boosts Century Capital’s reputation.
2016
2016
Century more than doubles its lending capacity, whilst expanding its product offering, thanks to a financial backer.
A second fundraise is also completed after backing from One Savings Bank and a High Net Worth private investors’ fund.
Lower rates and longer-term lending also ensure Century Capital raises the bar on prime property finance.
2017
2017
Century Capital completes its largest deal to date, secured against a £30 million London townhouse. This sets a new standard for Century Capital who consciously start to emphasise larger ticket loans and lending on larger single assets, focusing on HNWs and entrepreneurs with a strong asset balance sheet but a lack of short-term liquidity.

This year sees Century Capital hit an important landmark, completing an impressive £150 million of lending.

With the expansion of Century Capital’s management team, recruiting Ian Axe as Non-Executive Chairman and Simon Golesworthy as Group Financial Director, comes an increase in cash flow thanks to new funding lines.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Century Capital continues to deliver on all agreed funding. The doors stay open, despite the global storm.
2021

Despite the pandemic, Century Capital surpasses £300 million of lending, whilst proudly maintaining zero capital losses and a negligible default ratio within an ever-growing portfolio.
Late 2021
LATE 2021
Century Capital secures two new funding lines- from a multi-billion-dollar US credit fund and a new facility from a UK challenger bank, providing an additional £250 million lending capacity.

Having focused primarily on bridging loans over the last decade, Century Capital’s huge growth over the last year now allows them to diversify their product range, with a move to funding more development projects.
Century Capital now completes a number of loans against prime developments in areas such as the Cotswolds.
2023
2023
Century Capital celebrates a record-breaking week with completions totalling an astounding £32.5 million. These deals included a prime central London house, two boutique hotels in West London, a country manor house and a commercial investment in the City. This huge achievement comes after Century Capital’s £100 million fund raise with Natwest just weeks prior.
